Team
President Steven has been providing structural engineering services in northern California since 1982 and has owned and operated his own engineering firm since 1990. He holds an Architectural Engineering degree from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo and both California, Civil engineering, and Structural engineering licenses. His ability to work collaboratively with all members of the project team on both residential and commercial projects has given him an excellent reputation in the S.F. Bay Area.
Office Manager Michelle has been an employee of Duquette Engineering since 1998. She was originally trained and held the position of CAD draftsperson. Over the years she has taken on more responsibility as receptionist, bookkeeper, human resources, information technology etc. As Office Manager, her ability to learn new skills has made her an extremely valuable part of the team.
Staff Engineer Connie has been an employee of Duquette Engineering since 2007. She holds an Architectural Engineering degree from Cal Poly University, San Luis Obispo and a California Civil engineering license. She has acquired extensive experience with both residential and commercial construction. As staff engineer, this experience has made Connie very versatile, with the ability to meet the engineering needs of the project team on numerous project types both large and small.
Assistant Engineer Bryan has been an employee of Duquette Engineering since 2006. He holds a Civil Engineering degree from San Jose State University. He has acquired experience with both residential and commercial projects with an emphasis on historic structures and architectural metals. As assistant engineer Bryan supports, historic architect clients with field reconnaissance and reporting for Historic Structures Reports and, fabricator clients with calculations and shop drawing review.
Assistant Engineer Thien has been an employee of Duquette Engineering since 2007. He holds a Civil Engineering degree from San Jose State University. He has acquired extensive experience with both residential and commercial projects with an emphasis on large commercial and institutional engineering. As assistant engineer Thien supports architect and developers with structural design on larger projects. His skill with 3D structural modeling has proven to be an asset to the project team.
Assistant Engineer Ai Su has been an employee of Duquette Engineering since 2005. She holds a Civil Engineering degree from University of Missouri-Columbia. She has acquired extensive experience with both residential and commercial construction. As assistant engineer, this experience has made Ai Su very versatile, with the ability to meet the engineering needs of the project team on numerous project types both large and small.
CAD Draftsperson Jose has been an employee of Duquette Engineering since 2002. He holds a degree in Architectural Drafting from High Tech Institute. As CAD Draftsperson, he has acquired extensive experience with both residential and commercial construction. His excellent communication skills allow for effective collaboration with other members of the design team. Jose is also known for his willingness to go the extra mile, volunteering to work extra hours to meet tight project deadlines.
CAD Draftsperson Dao has been an employee of Duquette Engineering since 2019. He acquired his CAD training at De Anza College in Cupertino. As CAD Draftsperson, he provides valuable skills in the production of the construction documents for each project. Dao has proven to be a valuable contributor to the design team.
Staff Engineer Jovie has been with Duquette engineering for just a short time but comes to us with 15 years of structural engineering design experience, in the San Francisco Bay area. He holds an Civil Engineering degree from the University of Santo Tomas, Manila, a Masters of Business Administration from De LA Salle University, Manila and a California Civil Engineering license. He has acquired extensive experience with both residential and commercial construction.
